5 Stars Best of the best travel mug
In addition to having a sure closure click locked top that prevents spills it has no handle so it fits into all car coffee mug holders. It is large enough to hold lots of coffee but slender so its easy to hold. The pour mouth makes it easy to drink from and avoids spills. The best of the best.
5 Stars A good five year travel mug
Having used this travel mug before, I know it’s a good performer. The seals held up well for five years before starting to leak, and even then, some held up, some didn’t. I bought the original mugs at Staples when they had them for sale as a special purchase. Of course they don’t sell them anymore but the internet is a great place to find stuff you can’t get locally anymore. The price is good, and the performance is better. Having something that’s plastic and rubber that stays water tight for five years and still only costs ten dollars is more than most folks would expect. Just remember to click the valve shut before you throw it in your purse.
3 Stars not too shabby
I’m ordering two new mugs. The ones I have had for a year are worn out. I washed them by hand at first but got lazy and put them in the top rack of my dishwasher with no issues. The seal works great. The lid is great, I don’t spill it all over myself and the one click top is awesome. Yes, it could keep coffee warmer longer, but what coffee mugs do? I just bought two cuisiart mugs at Marshalls that I thought would be great, they leaked all over me so they are going back. Form your own opinion, let me know if I am wrong.
2 Stars Hard to remove lid; doesn’t keep liquids hot
So much for a good grip - once you tighten the top enough so that it won’t drip, it becomes very difficult to remove it. It needs something either on the tumbler or on the top to provide a gripping spot.
I was also disappointed in the heat-preserving capability. Even though I pre-warmed the tumbler with near-boiling water before I poured in my coffee, it didn’t retain the heat.
5 Stars Excellent gift
I purchased four of these as Christmas stocking stuffers. They were a big hit. They seem to work really well and come in a variety of colors so people can tell them apart.
