1 Stars Dont buy it, broke 2 weeks later
the peaces that hold and snap on the parts are plastic and all 3 of them broke off after 2 weeks of use, so I cant attached the attachments, I have to hold em by hand contacted to the motor, if you buy this blender which other then that is very good, get the metal one , thats a lil more expensive.

5 Stars Whatta Blender!
I’ve gone through maybe 5 hand blenders. They have lasted me 2 years at the most. I burn the motors up with heavy blending, mostly crushing ice cubes to make smoothies. The last one, a 350 watt Oster didn’t even make it through a year.

I’ve had this one for about a month, and it shows every sign of going the distance. I haven’t been gentle with mine.

Its two best features are the 550 watt motor which hardly even gets warm during the heaviest lengthiest chores, and the highly convenient speed control. The changable four bladed cutter is also very nice. Even the mini food processor which I initially took to be a throw-away, has turned out to be well-designed and useful.

I recommend that when you first try it out, that you run it on the speed control at a setting of 2. In the highest setting of 5 or Turbo mode, it will tug on your hand so strongly while blending that it may be hard to resist. It is not excessively noisy. Timid people may even find it a little scary at its highest setting due to its ability to tug on its handle during heavy blending.

Due to its ability to blend thick mixtures at maximum speed, you may find that it blends familiar items so that they are smoother than you have ever experienced. It can definately make quick work of just about any blending task.

Like most other small home appliances this one is made in China. It’s a little odd to me that it is marketed by a company that seems to be headquartered in Venezuela. It appears from some other comments that they stand behind their products and do have a viable US presence. 15 months is a pretty warranty for a product like this. The portion of the instructions that are in English are a lot skinnier than the ones in Spanish, but what does it take to run a blender and food processor?

4 Stars Powerful hand blender
A bit on the heavy side, but it has power to spare. It’s almost too powerful at times. The only annoying thing is that it’s covered in stickers written in spanish or italian, and they are difficult to remove. All in all, I recommend this anyone who needs a good hand blender. It can even turn ice cubes into slush in no time.

5 Stars Miallegro Hand Blender
This is a very convenient blender to have in our kitchen. The clean-up is easy and quick. Mixing, chopping, blending it does it all with no mess or hard to clean containers.

4 Stars Good product, excellent warranty.
I purchased this in college after I missed using my Mom’s Braun hand blender at home.

I hadn’t been able to find an affordable, but powerful hand blender until I came across this company. With the good reviews, I bought it immediately.

I used it for about a month and found that it did everything I wanted it to do. It was more than plenty powerful. I was a little disappointed that warning labels and most documentation was not in English. The different blades provided are supposed to be attached to the blender depending on what you are blending. It’s a little difficult to attach and remove the blade with the small metal hand tool they’ve provided. So, I usually just usually leave the grinder blade on at all times - seems to work well with most foods.

The only poor design of the product is the mechanism used to attach the different attachments (e.g. the whip) to the blender. It’s not very intuitive and takes a while getting used to because of the awkward design. There are three plastic ‘tabs’ that are used to secure the blender with its attachments. After the first month, one of these tabs broke off when I was attaching the chopper.

Very disappointed with the quality of the plastic, I called customer support. They said it was a common problem and that they would ship a new unit out immediately with a prepaid return label. I could use the return label to ship the broken unit back to them. They also said they would do this as many times as necessary (all at no cost) during the 15 months the product is under warranty. Now that’s a pretty amazing warranty service!

The customer representative also said that the 9080 model (metallic model) is a little less powerful and more expensive. However it still uses the same plastic tabs inside which cause the same problem. She said it does happen a little less in that model, but I’m not sure of that.

Hope this helps!
