The tenderizer is very simplistic, yet very efficient. However, one of the two I ordered was defective: pins were pulling out. This does not say much for their quality control!

My wife has wanted one of these for some time and when we finally got it…wow!! Now I know why. This is as quick and easy as it gets to tenderize meat. Unlike some similar products, this meat tenderizer is quite easy to wash and keep clean. Best of all, it is affordably priced and will make a great addition to anyone’s kitchen. First tenderizer I have owned and love it. Been using it on most of my meats and then marinading them overnight. The pins rarely stick and will go through even thick meat. Well made and solid.

Buy the model with the greater number of spikes. This works but is very hard to use. The spikes are to big around and hang in the meat
