GRATES FINE!! YOU WILL STILL GET CHEESE ALL OVER THE PLACE, SO THE CUP FEATURE IS NOT A PLUS!

I purchased this for a friend to give to a friend as a secret santa gift. She really loved it so I thought maybe I could give it to one of my friends who’s a huge cook. She said it worked great and all she needed was bigger bowl to catch the cheese

I agree with the “Amazonaholic” review, it is big and red and awesome, because of the coarse and medium. I too took the red rim off to clean, but put it back on, not a problem really. And having read the lady’s review, just hand washed it to prevent the water in the handle.
But as for the grating power, awesome, I had enough cheese done for Mac ‘n Cheese in a few minutes!!! The little container is ok. for small amounts, but I cook BIG, so I use one of my own. And the red fits my kitchen colors, so that’s a plus. In short I like and recommend it! =:o)
5 Stars Amazing grater!
This thing is simply amazing. I didn’t even pay attention that it came with the handy tupperware type addon to store your cheese in. It cleans easily in the dishwasher. The only downsize is it is quite big but i prefer that being a man with bigger hands. It might be a little too big for a woman with tiny hands.

my unit was delivered bent so it will go back. box was not damaged, so it was not shipping issue.
tired of all the defective products delivered from amazon. is it just me?
