Oxo Good Grips Rolling Pin

Which is more aggravating? Scraping your knuckles along the board as you roll, or picking up the rolling pin and having the entire crust come along too? In either case your problems are solved, thanks to OXO.Nonstick for easy cleanup and even dishwasher-safe, this 12-inch rolling pin has contoured handles for a safe, comfortable grip, with the handles raised to protect hands and knuckles from striking a countertop or pastry board. Because they’re weighted, the handles always remain in the raised position. One handle has a hanging-hole, so the rolling pin can be stored conveniently. The barrel measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter, and it rolls smoothly thanks to rugged, long-lasting nylon bearings. Oxo guarantees satisfaction for the pin by offering repair, replacement, or a refund. –Fred Brack

5 Stars Elite Rolling Pin
Weighted handles so that your knuckles never scrape the the counter - this beauty is the best that I’ve seen. Dishwasher safe (which makes it better than a wooden pin and worth the extra bucks), hefty and thoughtfully designed.
5 Stars if your hands aren’t always your best kitchen tool…
i have severe arthritis and using a rolling pin isn’t easy. decided to give this a try not only because the description said it would protect my nuckles, but figured the ball bearings would be helpful. both features are grand, however there are a couple other things that make this “arthritis friendly”. first is the weight ~ it takes very little effort to get the perfect round pie crust. secondly, the handles are a good size which makes it easy to hold, even if your fingers can no longer “make a fist”. if you need a little extra help due to arthritis, this is a great find!
4 Stars Great rolling pin
When we needed a new rolling pin, we looked at all diffrent kinds - wood, marble, non-stick, etc.,. We bought this one, and I’ve been very pleased. It’s long, heavy, non-stick, and neat handles. I do have to flour it when I’m making pie-crusts. because they stick a little. Overall, it’s a great rolling pin.
2 Stars Sticky Pin
The handles are comfy and it rolls beautifully–until it sticks. If you’re looking for one of those teflon-coated pins that nothing ever sticks to, keep looking. As for me, I’ll probably go back to my marble pin. The main redeeming feature of this pin is that it’s dishwasher safe.

I bought one for a friend and my husband who likes to make bread from scratch. He loved it. He said it was better than the one he made himself.
