PURCHASED THIS ITEM FOR SOMEONE WITH ARTHRITC HANDS WHO HAS DIFFICULTY OPENING JARS. AFTER SOME HELP WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS, SHE IS VERY SATISFIED WITH HER ABILITY TO INDEPENDENTLY OPEN JARS OF VARIOUS SIZES.

Having weak wrists and strength in my hands this is a lifesaver! It’s easy to use and easy to store as it collapses if needed. Looks good on the countertop as well. The quality is great. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has trouble opening jars. So far it has opened all of the jars I needed opened. My main jar problem are spaghetti sauce type jars..works like a charm!

I bought this item for myself, my mom and my grandparents. We all use our jar openers anytime we have a tough lid. It is easy to use - put the jar in, press the button - its open. It works great for older people - my grandparents have a very tough time opening jars of anything and this eased it by 100% - so I think its perfect for older people or people with sensitive hands - but I also recommend it for people who hate opening tough lids!!!
